Our wonderful panel includes: Amy Barton, Metadata specialist Tao Zhang, Digital User Experience Specialist Line Pouchard, Computational Science Information Specialist (and big data perspective) Pete Pascuzzi, Molecular Biosciences Information Specialist (and liaison librarian perspective) And me, the panel moderator. We will see different iterations of this model throughout today’s panel… Today’s panel will give an overview of the new “Purdue model” of data services and in-depth looks into how the specialists and liaisons have incorporated data services, activities, and education into their responsibilities and research. Over the past year, the Research Data group at the Purdue University Libraries has developed a new organizational structure, leading to increased collaborations across campus. The selected Research Coordinator will also have opportunities for professional development on and off-campus. The position will provide funds to cover relevant travel expenses to research sites and other appropriate research events.

Annual salary ranges from $35,000-$45,000 (commensurate with experience), plus benefits. Terms and compensation: This Research Coordinator position is initially for one year, but renewable for a second year given satisfactory progress in the first year.
